Ciao a tutti! Mi chiamo Veronica and I’d love to share the love for my language and culture with you! When I was 6 years old, I taught my 4-year-old brother to read – you should have seen my mum’s face when she realised what I had been able to do! At that moment, I think I have started to enjoy the fulfillment of helping somebody to learn and make progress. For as long as I can remember, teaching has always been the way I want to live my professional life.

After my Master’s Degree in Languages, I started my teacher training journey to become a Modern Foreign Languages teacher in the UK and I’ve also qualified to teach Italian as a Foreign Language (CEDILS). Since then, I’ve been working as an Italian tutor with students of a wide range of ages and levels. Eventually I ended up teaching in a renowned school language in Bristol. So, I’ve been teaching Italian for almost 10 years now!

My lessons are engaging and interactive, and whether you need it for private, academic or specific professional purposes, I will tailor your language learning to your needs and interests. You will count on a number of fun activities (role-plays, quizzes, songs…) as well as a playful attitude. You will also have access to a number of authentic resources through which you will make realistic use of the Italian language. If you are wondering whether making an Italian recipe during one of our lessons can be considered ‘making use of authentic resources’, yes, it is, and – if you wish – consider it done!
